Meteora
Meteora is one of the largest and most important complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries in Greece. The six monasteries are built on natural sandstone rock pillars.
Bagan
Bagan is home to the largest and densest concentration of Buddhist temples, pagodas, stupas and ruins in the world with many dating from the 11th and 12th centuries.
Paternoster
A paternoster is a passenger elevator which consists of a chain of open compartments (each usually designed for two persons) that move slowly in a loop up and down inside a building without stopping. Passengers can step on or off at any floor they like.

The Red Fort is a 17th century fort complex constructed by the Mughal emperor Shahjahan in the walled city of Old Delhi.
Dunmore Pineapple
One of the architectural wonders of Scotland, the building was built in the grounds of Dunmore House as a garden retreat and hothouse in 1761 by John Murray, 4th Earl of Dunmore. After discovery by Christopher Columbus on the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe in 1493, the pineapple became a rare delicacy in Europe, and was symbolic of power, wealth, and hospitality.
Kumsusan Memorial Palace
The Kumsusan Memorial Palace is a building located northeast of downtown Pyongyang, North Korea. The palace is the former official residence and office of North Korea's president and founder, Kim Il-sung. Following Kim Il-sung's death in 1994, his son and successor, Kim Jong-il, had the building renovated and transformed into his father's final resting place. Inside the palace, Kim Il Sung's embalmed body lies viewable inside a clear sarcophagus.
San Juan de Gaztelugatxe
The island San Juan de Gaztelugatxe is connected to the mainland by a man-made stone bridge. The bridge transitions into a narrow path that contains 241 steps and zigzags its way back and forth to the top. Once there, you will find the church which has a bell situated along the front of its facade. According to legend, after you have completed the climb, you should ring the bell three times and make a wish.
La Scala
La Scala was inaugurated on 3 August 1778 and was originally known as the New Royal Theatre at La Scala. Today the theatre is recognised as one of the leading opera and ballet theatres in the world and is home to the La Scala Theatre Chorus, La Scala Theatre Ballet and La Scala Theatre Orchestra.
Arcosanti
Arcosanti is an experimental town that began construction in 1970 in central Arizona. Architect Paolo Soleri, using a concept he calls arcology (a portmanteau of architecture and ecology), started the town to demonstrate how urban conditions could be improved while minimizing the destructive impact on the earth.
Temppeliaukio Kirkko
Hewn into solid rock in the middle of a residential square, Helsinki’s Rock Church (Temppeliaukio Kirkko) features a circular ceiling covered entirely with copper stripping. Natural light streams in through 180 window panes, while an ice age crevice in the natural rock serves as the altar.
